![]() ![]() Personally, I think it's cool to see Endou as a coach (although I did root for Endou X Aki, so I'm slightly disappointed that didn't turn out).Īnyways, if you step out of the frame of the old series and look at the new series' good points, it turns out to be quite an enjoyable watch with lots of space for laughs, trolling, shipping and parody (which is what fangirls gradually enjoy in an anime, let's face it and as for the men, well. ![]() So, it's not that it sucks, it's just that you guys haven't expected it and still aren't used to it. Maybe I'll return after the series is finished to properly review it - since my policy is to review something after having finished watching it, but I made an exception for this one because people have been saying a lot of nasty comments about the new series how it sucks, how they wanted the sequel to be about the old characters in college or something, but I personally think that adding new characters leaves more space for newer character and killer technique design (which is actually the main selling point of the first series that was oh so popular), and also to the behind-the-scenes drama (take Tsurugi for example). So basically, having new characters, plot and principles, at first sight Inazuma Eleven GO might seem not as great as the prequel, but it is nevertheless a relatively good watch for the more faithful fans, and very recommended for those who are curious about how the story goes on. Secondly, the mood of the prequel is slightly changed to fit the new age of middle school soccer, which in itself shouldn't be a minus to the new series. Firstly, since a lot of time elapsed from when the first series ended, and since the main focus of both series is exclusively middle school soccer ligue, there was a need to introduce new characters, but at the same time keep the old ones to guide them (read this as fainservice), so on its own, a new plot developes just from that. Retail listings for Inazuma Eleven branded Nintendo Switch accessories lend credence to prevailing rumors that the game is also slated for an October release.Inzuma Eleven GO features the same characters and holds onto almost the same mood as its predecessor - but with a few key differences. Inazuma Eleven Fes 2018, a small convention of sorts hosted by Level-5, is set to kick off on August 26th, and is expected to feature an expanded look into the upcoming game, a confirmation of its release date, as well as a formal unveiling of the upcoming story arc set to begin in the television series this October. ![]() The series is also currently airing in the Philippines with episodes debuting just a few short hours after their Japanese broadcast. It's a busy time for the franchise, as Level-5 has also confirmed their intention to release the upcoming Switch/PS4 title Inazuma Eleven Ares in Europe and the US next year, with its animated adaption set to debut in France on August 29th. After 3 long years (the original trademark application was filed in April of 2015), Level-5 has secured the European trademark for the title of the final Inazuma Eleven 3DS game, opening the doors to its long-awaited release. The terms of the settlement between the 2 parties seem to consist of restrictions with regard to how Level-5 utilizes the trademark. Shortcut to July 31st, MSC Technologies Systems filed, through Level-5's legal representation, their dismissal of their objection to the trademark application. The series proper had, of course, ended in Japan as a result of declining sales not long before.Įventually, it would arise that developer Level-5 was locked in a legal battle with MSC Technologies Systems over this very trademark, which had left the accompanying game's release in limbo. When Galaxy failed to materialize in a similar schedule to the previous titles, fans became concerned that it had been cancelled. It was the last of the 3DS trilogy, and of a series moreover that had otherwise been released in its entirety in Europe. ![]() For those unaware, Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy was the 6th and final 'generation' of Inazuma Eleven games before the revival commenced this year. Level-5 today successfully registered the trademark 'Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy' with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. ![]()
